Hi, I’m Lou. I started making jewellery a few years ago as a hobby - it was one of those things I’d always wanted to try but never quite found the time for. Once I did, I was fortunate in having an inspirational teacher, and I was completely hooked from the start! I still love it just as much now as I did then.

After a while, people started asking me to make pieces for them, and things grew from there.

I work in silver and sometimes Copper, and I take my inspiration from all sorts of things I see around me and sometimes just from a half-formed idea in my own head. Often, my pieces begin as an ‘experiment’ and then develop as I go along. I particularly enjoy playing with form and texture, as you'll see from my pieces.

I believe jewellery should make you happy, so I only make pieces I’d love to wear myself. I hope you will enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoy making them.
